Work Item
- A Work Item document indicates the type of work to develop by the Working Group. It contains what the Working Group needs to accomplish and sets an initial date for completion.
- In OMA, all the Membership levels may initiate a Work Item.
- Work Item approval requires the support of at least three qualified member companies
- Qualified members are member companies on one of these levels: Sponsors, Full, and Associates. These membership levels count towards the minimum support quorum for approving a Work Item.

Baseline Creation
- In OMA, any Working Group Member may propose the creation of a new Baseline document for developing: Use Cases, Requirements, Architecture, Technical Specifications, Supporting Materials, or Test Cases, etc.
- These documents are developed on different Standards Phases, each with its document template.
- If the document template is unavailable in the repository, a Working Group Member may download a template for the enabler_template repo.
The
Enabler Template
repository contains the baselines documents used by the Working Group.
Repository Allocation
- When creating a Work Item, the Working Group must decide if the work will be developed in an existing or a new repository.
- Only Standards Hub Helpdesk can create new repositories.
- Please send an email to the Helpdesk, requesting the creation of a new repository.
- If a new repository is chosen, then the Helpdesk will copy the enabler_template repo into a new repository.
- The Helpdesk will notify the Working Group once the new repository is created and will delete any document template that the Working Group does not require

is a
template
repository, please don't perform

operations in this repository. This repository is only used to copy its content into a new repository without the chance to contribute back to the repository copy.
Editor Assignment
- Ideally, each time a Baseline is created, a member or group of members of the Working Group should be assigned as Editor(s)
- Each section of a template contains guidelines on how the document section should be filled.
Choosing Template
- The enabler_template repo contains all the template documents used by the Organization. If the desirable template document is not available in the enabler_template repo, then look for the template document in the OMA_Document_Templates repository.
